Just what she always wanted.

Walking around Ottawa today I found the best Christmas present for my sister Colby.  It is a 5 foot tall statue of a zebra.  You mock, but it was kinda great.  My family has always had a Z-is-for-Zebra fetish. I would have bought it for myself, but I have so much zebra paraphernalia in my teeny-tiny apartment that it's become overwhelming.  In her house it would look great. At least I think it would. Unfortunately the store won't ship and there was no chance this thing was going to fit in the Mini.  Nevertheless I seriously considered buying it and trying to find a Mailboxes, etc. or the like.  I didn't, but I should have.

**Update** - I got in the car this morning and looked at the space available.  It would have been awkward, but I could have squeezed it in.  I almost went back...
