Deep Dish

Why? Why would you take a thing as fabulous as pizza and turn into a concoction like deep dish? And then, make it a 'signature' food for a region so all the tourist have to try it out? It tasted like cheese soup wrapped in pie crust.  Okay, it isn't sooo terrible; I mean it is mostly cheese after all. But it's not something I will try again -- and if I ever drunkenly consider it, please someone remind me about the heartburn!
