Leaving Detroit there is an enormous tire on the side of I-94. I got off the highway and tried for a good half hour to find out how to drive to a place where you can take a picture of it. I gave up and had to settle for holding my camera to the side and pressing the shutter as I drove past. I got a lot of pictures of the sky and a couple of nice ones of the vehicle registration on my windshield. But, I did get one or two with the tire actually in them. I guess a 'roadside attraction' is sometimes nothing more than that: something seen only from the road.
