Best. Thing. Ever.

I'm staying at the Holiday Inn Express in downtown Detroit, and I just discovered that they have the best thing ever: there is a plug in the base of the bed side lamp.  I'm not sure you understand.  I'm driving cross country with a gallon-size ziploc bag filled with chargers and plugs: computer, cell, camera battery and computer hookup, kindle, bluetooth headset and I can't even remember what else, but about a million more.  When I check into a hotel and see a power strip, I cry a little.  Yes, I'm that pathetic.  Going to bed tonight, I started to unplug the hotel alarm clock so that I could charge my phone while having it next to the bed, acting as my alarm clock (ironic, I know), and I spotted this extra plug -- brilliant. Okay, maybe it's not the 'best.thing.ever,' but tonight, it's pretty great.
